Why are there no brand names on some items?

Since our prices are so low, big brands don't want to upset the department stores that carry their merchandise at full price. So, we have to keep the brand names secret in order for you to get the lowest possible price. Most of the items that you buy will have their original tags and logos.

What if I don’t recognize the brand that I receive?

Some of the items may be brands you don’t recognize, but that doesn’t mean quality is being sacrificed. We’re always sourcing great quality and introducing you to new brands you may have never heard of before.

Also, we’ll let you in on a little secret. Brands have been known to sell their overstock to wholesalers and make them remove their logos and tags from their own items. The wholesalers then sew a private label on the item and sell it as a different brand.

Why do prices go up?

We have limited inventory for each item. When an item starts to sell fast and the units available start to go down, the price starts to go up. Don’t worry, you’ll never pay less than 50% off the original MSRP. You’re still getting a great deal at the current price, but remember that the earlier you buy the better the deal you’ll get.

Why does “Brands Similar To” mean on an item’s page?

Since we’re not allowed to display the brand name on some items, we identify each item with a brand that is similar to in quality.

Where do you get your items from?

We find overstock of popular branded and private label apparel and accessories from retailers, wholesalers, manufacturers. All product have been designed and distributed for the US market.

Where do you get the original MSRPs (the slash through price) from?

MSRP is the suggested retail price provided by our vendor partners. Some items may still have their original MSRP tags on the item. Keep in mind we don’t make any promises on the accuracy of the MSRP.

What type of payments do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club debit and credit cards. We also accept Paypal.

Once your order is placed, we authorize the order total to your credit card/debit card to ensure the funds are available. Authorization places a hold of the funds for the order amount. Once your order is shipped, we will process the total amount and you will be charged.

Please note, we only accept US customers at the moment.

Is Upsessive secure?

Yes, Upsessive is very secure. Upsessive uses an SSL certificate to handle your payment information, which uses the industry standard 256-bit encryption technology. This is the same type of encryption used by banks to keep your information secure. Also, our entire site is encrypted with the HTTPS protocol.

When will I be charged for my order?

Credit & Debit Cards
Once your order is placed, we authorize the card for the total order amount in order to confirm that the funds are available. This places a hold on your card for the order amount. Authorization does not place a charge on your card. Once we ship your item(s), then we process and charge for the items that have been shipped.

Paypal captures the full order amount when your order is placed.

Can I change my shipping address for my order?

If your order has not shipped yet, please contact customer service at support@upsessive.com to request to have your shipping address changed.

Can I change my payment method for my order?

If your order has not shipped yet, please contact customer service at support@upsessive.com to request to have your payment method changed. Depending on your payment method, we may not be able to change it.

Can I add an item to my order?

We recommend you create a new order with the item you’d like to add. We can possibly combine both orders in the same shipment. This depends if all of your items are from our same vendor partner.

How do I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order by logging into your account. Once logged in, click on My Account and then View Open Orders. Select the order you would like to cancel. On the order details page, you’ll be able to cancel your order. You can only cancel orders that have not been shipped yet. Or you can contact our customer service at support@upsessive.com.

How long does it take receive a refund?

After you receive an notification from us that we are issuing you a refund, your refund will typically take 3-5 business days to be processed. This depends on your credit card company and/or bank.

Do you charge sales tax?

Yes, we currently charge sales tax on orders that are shipped to California and New York.

Can I order if I live outside the US?

Sorry, we only ship to US addresses only at the moment. We hope to be able to ship to international address in the next couple of months.

Shipping & Returns

How much does shipping cost?

We believe in reasonable and low shipping costs with no surprises. This is why we have free shipping!

What delivery methods do you use?

We use USPS for our shipping carrier. You’ll receive a tracking number once your order is shipped.

If I have multiple items in my order, will they arrive in one box?

It’s very possible that you may have multiple boxes arrive for a multi-item order. Don’t worry, your shipping cost doesn’t increase. It’s still $2 per item.

The reason you may have multiple boxes for a multi-item order is because we use many different vendors for our inventory. They’re located throughout the US and it’s more efficient for them to ship your item directly to you instead of shipping your order to us. We’d then have to unbox and wait for the rest of your order to come in until we shipped to you. We can guarantee you wouldn’t be happy about waiting that long.

Where are my items shipped from?

We have many different vendor partners located throughout the US. Your items are shipped directly from our vendor partners to you.

How long does it take to get my item?

Depending on where our vendor partner’s warehouse is and where you are located, it can between 5 and 14 business days after your order is placed. Keep in mind it may take up to 5 business days for your order to be processed and shipped

Can I return items?

Yes, you can return your item(s) up to 30 days after your item was shipped.

Upsessive will issue a refund on any item(s), provided that the item(s) has not been damaged, washed, or worn and that all labels and tags are attached.

How do I track my order?

You can track the status of your order in your Account Settings under View Open Orders. You’ll also receive a shipment notification email with your tracking number.

You can reset your password on the Sign In page by clicking the “Forgot your password?” link.

How do I change my password?

You can change your password by logging in and going to My Account. Click on Edit My Account and then click the Reset Password link.

How do I change my email address?

You can change your email address by logging in and going to My Account. Click on Edit My Account and then edit the email address field.

How do I unsubscribe from your email newsletter?

You can click the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of our email newsletter or you can email us at support@upsessive.com and we will remove you from our marketing list.
